Competitions are not a requirement, but they are a lot of fun and we encourage everyone to compete no matter the skill level. Club gym hosts a wide range of experience from newbies all the way to level 10 and we love to showcase it all at competition! In order to compete, gymnasts must attend a minimum of four practices per month.Gymnasts must compete in at least one competition in the fall and one competition in the spring to attend NAIGC Nationals in April. If a gymnast is abroad, injured, or otherwise unable to compete, he or she must compete in at least two competitions before Nationals, even if those competitions are in the same semester.
Refer to the Code of Points to learn what requirements are expected for competition as well as different examples of skills to meet those requirements.
As a member, you are expected to help with fundraisers. We have to reach a minimum goal of $250! Everyone is also expected to do some form of community service. As a team we must reach 54 hours!
